Hi, I’m Kelsey Jane!
I’m a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), movement enthusiast, and former competitive gymnast turned coach. My mission is simple: to help you move to your fullest potential—without letting pain hold you back.
Growing up as a competitive gymnast, athlete, and outdoor adventurer, I faced my share of injuries. I know firsthand the frustration of being told by doctors to “just stop doing what you love and your pain will go away.” That approach didn’t work for me—it led to lost strength, stability, and even more challenges. Through two major shoulder surgeries and a spinal fusion in my 20s, I learned that pain doesn’t have to define you. Now in my 30s, I feel stronger, more stable, and healthier than ever, and I’m here to help you find the same freedom in movement.
My Philosophy:
Pain doesn’t mean stop—it means get creative! I believe there’s always a way to move pain-free, even while recovering from injuries. My approach combines the best of gymnastics, injury prevention, and weightlifting to create personalized strategies that work for your unique body and goals.
My Journey:
After graduating in 2015 with a degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant, I started lifting weights and developed a passion for blending my three loves: gymnastics, injury recovery, and strength training. Over the past 10 years, I’ve worked as a traveling PTA across the U.S., gaining experience in orthopedic outpatient therapy, acute care hospitals, neurological rehab, SNF and more.
Along the way, I began teaching adult gymnastics and body-awareness classes in CrossFit and Fitness gyms. My focus has always been on creating stronger, more resilient athletes by incorporating mobility, stability, accessory work, proper warmups and cool-downs, and (of course) handstand fun!
Why I Started Kelsey Jane Coaching, LLC:
After years of frustration with the healthcare system, I wanted to offer people something different: a way to achieve their movement goals without insurance limitations. Through 1-on-1 coaching sessions, workshops at YOUR gym/studio, and personalized plans, I help clients build strength, overcome injuries, achieve new skills, and get back to doing what they love.
Whether it’s climbing, hiking, weightlifting, or handstands, I believe we were made to move and explore the beautiful world around us. My goal is to help you reconnect with your body, rediscover what it’s capable of, and enjoy life to its fullest—on your terms.
